Jesus Martínez-Gómez received the MSc. and PhD degrees in Computer Science in 2008 and 2011, respectively, from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.
He is lecturer in the Albacete Computer Science School, as well as an active member of the Intelligent Systems and Datamining research group in the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics I3A.
In the past, he has been part time lecturer in telecommunications in the Cuenca polytechnics school, researcher in the IDIAP research institute under the supervision of Barbara Caputo, and post doc researcher in the University of Alicante in the Robotics and Tridimensional Vision Group under the supervision of Miguel Cazorla. Moreover, he was the head of Research and Development of Grupo Vermon private company for five years.
His research includes robotics, semantic localization, artificial intelligence, multimodal human-robot interaction and computer vision.
